NASO COMMUNITY USA CONTRIBUTION
On Bhadra 10, 2083 B.S., a devastating flood and landslide originating from the Bhotekoshi area of Nepal caused significant loss and destruction. During this difficult time of natural disaster, NASO Community America appealed to the community for financial support to assist with relief and rehabilitation efforts. The NASO Community America family sincerely expresses its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all respected community members who came together, extended their support, and generously contributed to this important cause. We are pleased to announce that the collected relief contribution of US $7,000.00 (equivalent to NPR 1,034,180) was sent on Friday, October 2, 2026, to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund of the Government of Nepal, through the Rastriya Banijya Bank account. NASO Community America sincerely thanks everyone for their generosity, solidarity, and support during this time of need.

NASO COMMUNITY UAS - NEPAL FLOOD RELIEF FUND
The devastating floods in Nepal have caused heartbreaking loss of life and widespread destruction. As a Nepalese American community, we cannot stand by and watch our brother and sister suffer.
Our history:
NASO founded in 2004 in Maryland U.S.A. since then we have grown into a respected and impactful organization, thanks to the support of our donors, volunteers, and all community members. It intends to establish itself as a guardian organization that can help its members and Nepalese diaspora in the USA, though a small support. In line with this, it has been providing humanitarian assistance to the individual families and community impacted by incidents and facing difficult circumstances.
About us:
NASO Community is a member-based organization registered in Maryland, USA. Since the inception, its initiatives are focused on bringing Nepalese American people into platforms through various media where they can discourse on the issues of their concern in the USA and their help to Nepal. Uniting Nepalese diaspora community and engaging them on human rights and social justice movement and contributing in the fight against caste and decent based discrimination across the globe is the key interventions of NASO.

This fun-filled event brings together NASO members, families, and friends to enjoy great food, exciting games, music, and cultural performances. It's also a moment to recognize and appreciate the incredible contributions of our community members through a special Certificate of Appreciation ceremony."
